For a long time now Sherry and I have considered the Real Estate market changing, in terms of the way associates do their business. This isn’t rocket science, we watched what was happening in the business and what made us successful with our customers. We have looked high and wide to find a big brand that supported these feelings and interviewed a number of these companies. We even went so far as to promote one model company for a period of six months.
The truth is there isn’t a single model that supports an associate in the business that doesn’t require a set of rules and procedures that makes the successful associate adapt to the business. Go figure! We believe the associate is the business and the company should adapt to the associate. When you have a race horse you feed to oats, not hay. Let’s face it the 5% that does the 95% of the business has the answers to all the questions and the solutions to doing business. I don’t care how many balloons you put in the air or how much you refer to the heritage of the business the bottom line is the customer is doing business with the associate because of the belief in that person. We started Custom Builder Realty, LLC, because of our strong sticks and bricks background in the business and are now concentrating on a division called CORE, Custom Orlando Real Estate, to distinguish between the new construction and the resale and day to day business.
